44 SCHOLARSHIPS FROM BRITISH UNIVERSITY VIETNAM WORTH 46 BILLION VND, LIFTING DREAMS COME TRUE

British University Vietnam is the first and only international university in Vietnam to award bachelor degrees directly from the prestigious University of London and Staffordshire.

With a total value of 46 billion VND, BUV’s 2022 Scholarship and Financial Support Fund includes many diverse scholarship programs:

A. SCHOLARSHIPS:

1. NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP: For Vietnamese citizens from 18 to 30 years old, with good academic performance, active extracurricular activities & contributions to society & community.

*Applicable to young students applying for a Bachelor’s degree program awarded by Staffordshire University:

– UK Ambassador Scholarship: 4 scholarships of 100% tuition fee worth ~822 million VND/scholarship

– President Scholarship: 4 scholarships of 75% tuition fee worth ~616 million VND/scholarship

– Dean Scholarship: 4 scholarships of 50% tuition fee ~411 million VND/scholarship

*Applicable to young students enrolling in the Bachelor of Banking and Finance program, awarded by the University of London:

– Founder Scholarship: 2 scholarships – 80% tuition fee worth over 773 million/scholarship

*Application deadline: May 25, 2022

2. TALENTED SCHOLARSHIP (30 scholarships – 30% to 50% tuition): Program for students who have won Excellent Student awards from City level and above in many fields: Sports, arts, cultural subjects, etc.

*Application deadline: Phase 1: March 15, 2022, Phase 2: May 25, 2022

C. REGISTRATION CONDITIONS, ADMISSION CRITERIA & APPLICATION SUBMISSION METHODS:

1. Registration conditions:

– Study and graduate from grade 12 at British University Vietnam’s partner schools in 2022

– Meet the minimum requirements for English proficiency and GPA

– Submit your scholarship application and personal essay before the application deadline.

– Have a letter of recommendation from the school

2. Scholarship criteria:

– Academic achievement

– Experience participating in volunteer/community activities

– Level of suitability with the intended major

– Ability to contribute to the development of the school

– Leadership potential

– Need financial support

– Register online at the website of British University Vietnam www.buv.edu.vn

– Register directly at British University Vietnam, Ecopark Campus, Ecopark Urban Area, Hung Yen

D. IMPORTANT NOTES:

– The scholarship value applies to the tuition fees of the majors awarded by Staffordshire University. If the candidate registers for the Finance – Banking major (University of London – UoL), the scholarship will only apply to the tuition fee paid to BUV. The candidate needs to complete other fees paid to UoL.

– For the Cooperation Scholarship & Talent Scholarship, to facilitate candidates to submit their applications during the epidemic season, candidates can submit online at BUV’s Online Application Portal at the link https://form.buv.edu.vn/scholarship/ . Note, at the time of application, BUV accepts a scanned copy of the transcript or grade point average up to the end of semester 1 of grade 12 & a notarized translation will be required at the time the student receives the scholarship.

– Candidates can apply for many different types of scholarships, but after the results are announced, they can only choose one type and the values cannot be combined.

– Only candidates who pass the preliminary round will be contacted by BUV to attend an interview at the school.
