In fact, Vietnamese students often have to participate in a university preparation program when planning to study abroad. However, there are still some universities in Australia, including the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), that directly enroll students who have just completed high school in Vietnam, especially specialized schools across the country. In Nghe An, there are currently 2 specialized schools on the list, which are Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and Vinh University High School for the Gifted.

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have achieved the required GPA in Year 12 from one of the gifted/specialized high schools, and English proficiency that meets the requirements of UTS. Applicants with a GPA below 8.0 are not eligible.
Applicants must provide the following information:
1. Notarized copy of grade 12 academic transcript with Vietnamese and English translation.
2. Notarized copy of High School Diploma.
3. IELTS certificate with minimum score of 6.5 (Writing 6.0), (Check more carefully the requirements of each course)
