Global UGRAD is a program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that prioritizes disadvantaged students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to study in the United States. Selected candidates will receive in-depth exposure to U.S. society, culture, and academic institutions, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional skills. All participants will be enrolled in a full-time, non-degree course of study selected from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Participants will be required to take a 3-credit U.S. course to enhance their understanding of the United States, live in on-campus housing with American peers, and will be required to complete twenty hours of community service. An online orientation at the beginning of the program and a seminar at the end of the program will also be held.
Global UGRAD Full Exchange Scholarship worth $26,000. In particular, you will be sponsored a trip to Washington DC at the end of the semester to meet and make friends with hundreds of other UGRADers from all over the world.
