These days I have more free time than usual, so I take advantage of the opportunity to practice writing English, otherwise my writing skills will also be lost (and currently I study online for a few hours each week with a teacher who is a former IELTS & Cambridge examiner, my colleague, to give effective feedback). By the way, I also want to share with everyone about some extremely useful, quality and free online writing feedback tools to help you have a more effective writing practice experience at home.
*Regarding Lexical Resource or Vocabulary, surely many of you would like to receive feedback and comments on whether your use of words is correct or not, natural or not; or what level the words you are using are from A1 to A2 (especially for those who are studying for IELTS writing, it is extremely important to distinguish the level of words); As for grammar, what are the grammatical errors; what are the spelling errors?

Text Checker feature of the Oxford Advanced Learners’ Dictionary (OALD)
How to use:
Step 1: Go to https://enrolment.oxfordlearn.com/ to create an account
Step 2: Log in to the OALD website with the username and password from the website in step 1 https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/
Step 3: Go to Text Checker and copy the essay/paragraph you have written and paste, and click “Check”
The result is that each word is colored according to the level, and you can even see what percentage of words belong to each level type.
Writing at Cambridge Write & Improve
If you use the free package, you will choose the available topics on the website (including IELTS Academic/ General; Cambridge Exams like FCE), then you write the essay and the system will automatically give you a relative score according to the Cambridge or IELTS framework (in my personal experience, the scoring results are quite close to reality), there is feedback on the words you write wrongly/use incorrectly/use extra or missing words, especially it will have the feature of dividing into 3 levels of feedback on the sentences you write:
– (1) Your sentence is good
– (2) Your sentence is OK but should be improved
– (3) This sentence doesn’t seem OK, there might be some problem here
At the same time, you can edit and rewrite after reading the feedback and then receive the new score; by repeating this, you will improve your work. For those studying IELTS, it can be considered as improving your band score and understanding the nature of why you have not been able to improve your writing band.
*However, this is a tool, not a human, so you should not be too rigid and rely entirely on the results obtained.

Use Grammarly to check for grammar and spelling errors
Grammarly Free (free version) is highly rated for its quality and effectiveness compared to other error correction websites. Basically, Grammarly Free helps you point out grammatical errors and comes with suggestions for corrections (note that not all of Grammarly’s corrections are reasonable), spelling errors and punctuation errors. Notably, Grammarly alone, you should install the browser extension on your Internet. Grammarly will check grammar, spelling and punctuation when you type on most websites including Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, … Especially for office workers who often email to communicate with partners and customers, Grammarly will be very useful.
