Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa
In the summer of 2018, I was lucky to participate in Eureka Summer Camp, which was probably the only wonderful summer camp that gave me a unique experience and will probably never be forgotten. It was a memorable trip, a trip away from home, away from my parents' arms for the first time in my life. And that trip gave me a feeling of excitement, bringing a big change in my life. When I first set foot on the lion island, the feeling of excitement was accompanied by a feeling of anxiety when I had to do everything by myself, from washing clothes,... In addition, there were quite a few "troublesome" things when having to learn about MRT,..... That is what CAMP wants, wanting the children to be more mature, to think more maturely. But, in a hut, we cannot live alone, so that's why I joined CAMP to be able to confidently step out of my comfort zone, to be able to confidently create my own colors to be able to put them together into a complete Rubik's cube.

Everyone says that the most beautiful trip is the "trip of youth". Without parents, I had to take care of myself, wash my own clothes, use the MRT with the leaders, and then sit in a small room at night chatting and meeting with the leaders until the wee hours of the morning, but I was still not tired but I was happy. I still remember the leaders saying: "In Vietnam, I may be a king, but when I go to another country, I am nothing". That shows that I always have to try my best. The trip helped us make more friends from all three regions of the North, Central and South. Sometimes, we have to step out into the outside world to know who we are. This trip was truly a memorable and rewarding trip, helping me break my limits and discover my own potential.

Many people who go also think that it is an interesting trip and that they will be able to take many beautiful photos and eat many delicious dishes, but when they arrive in Singapore, the series of continuous brain-hacking challenges keep everyone involved in the game, the more we play, the more enthusiastic we become. After each race, we learn many new things, such as the first time I learned how to work effectively in a team, the first time I was able to demonstrate my professional work in the team, the first time I held my own money and chose my favorite food and how to use it economically. Each meal I only have 7 Singapore dollars, so my seniors will teach me how to spend money most reasonably and effectively. The first time I had to set my alarm at 5am to do the exercise with the team for the group challenge, prepare breakfast and luggage for the whole day. It was also the first time I worked hard until 2am and felt extremely excited.
When I came to Eureka Summer Camp 2018, I didn't think that I had grown up today. I just thought in a rather childish way that when I came to the summer camp, I just needed to work independently with the life skills I had acquired without needing help from my parents or family. Now after I attended the summer camp, I have realized a turning point, a change in myself - I now know how to think like an adult, am more confident in getting along with the crowd, and know more about the culture and customs of foreign countries. I want to send everyone a message "every time we go far, we become more mature". This year, if I have the chance, I will not miss the trip to Eureka Summer Camp 2019!

“You never know how far you can go if you don’t set out.” I didn’t know that I could walk a long distance in a day, or stay up until 2-3am to meet with my team for team exercises (to be honest, I’m very lazy to walk and at night around 11pm, my eyes are closed, let alone thinking clearly)… until I joined the Eureka Summer Camp. The trip was more special than I had imagined. I met friends from the South and kids from the same city, was grouped and took on the responsibility of leading the team to complete challenges with increasing difficulty levels. I found myself sometimes very annoyed with conflicts in the group, but in the end I overcame my ego. Working in a group, I learned how to listen more, learned how to put down my huge ego to harmonize with the group, put the collective interest above all else…
